★ Project 6 - Project Development ★

6: PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

For better acknowledgement of our future career, we are being given task to refer to Plan of Work RIBA 2007 to create a mindmap about our major in a construction project.

Initial sketch up for the mindmap.

More information added to my mindmap.

Initial design for my mindmap,
which later I realized look alike with one of my coursemate's mindmap.

Second idea of my mindmap.

Close up of my end production.

★ Project 5 - Blueprint★

5: BLUEPRINT

We are supposed to produce a blueprint with plan, front, left, right, back and isometric view based on the sculpture we've made.

Sketching of my sculpture in actual scale.

Isometric view of my sculpture. (Angle: 30 degree)

Axonometric view of my sculpture. (Angle: 45 degree)

Drawing of my sculpture's base in full scale with color testing.

End product of my blueprint. :)

My blueprint on exhibition.

Big thanks to Mr. Jestin, seniors and my fellow coursemates which help up a lot in advising me to produce this blueprint.

★ Project 4 - Sculpture★

4: Sculpture

In this project, we are given task to create our own sculpture, in the sense of sustainable.

Few sketches of my idea in creating sustainable sculpture.
Both studio master and I prefer the one on the top right.

The idea is then improved.

The materials I planned to use in making my sculpture
which turn out to be a failure
as newspaper is much too heavy to be swirled and stayed firm.

In the end, metal wire is used as the medium.
The picture above showing front view of the sculpture.
My sculpture is named as "The Precious Drop".

Left view.
Each single wire is twisted and swirled manually,
with one taken an hour to complete.
For your acknowledgement, there's total of 8 of them.

Right view.
This sculpture is actually being created
base on the idea of "Conservation of Water".

Plan View.
The five different colored papers represents different countries and seasons,
which symbolize no matter where one is,
water is one of the important element in life.

Close up for the seedling within the water drop.

My sculpture on exhibition.

Me and my sculpture. ♥

Funny Fact:
Within those days making the sculpture, and bringing it to lecture hall to submission, all HBP-ian are so protective to their sculpture so that it was not spoiled.
So am I, coating it with big plastic bag to prevent it from being rained. =3

★ Project 3 - Exterior ★

Structures can be classified into two main categories, which are natural structure and man-made structure.  In this project, all HBP-ians are required to observe structures in HBP school compound and sketch on the structure observed.

3A: NATURAL STRUCTURE

My sketching of natural structure which shown a bird resting on the tree branch.

Some descriptions on my sketching.

I chose bird and tree since I am a nature lover.  Somehow, I wished I could be a bird so that I could enjoy the freedom of flying high and gliding among the clouds.

3B: MAN-MADE STRUCTURE

My sketching on man-made structure.

Some descriptions on my sketching.

This is a well-known building of HBP, which we commonly known it as "The Drum".  Main office of HBP located at this place.

Close up on the insignificant human figures in my sketching.
